Netflix are excited to bring you Bloodline, a brand new Netflix original series, from Todd A. Kessler, Daniel Zelman, Glenn Kessler – the creators of the acclaimed show Damages.

Bloodline is a dramatic thriller that explores the demons lurking beneath the surface of a contemporary American family. The Rayburns are hard-working pillars of their Florida Keys community. But when the black sheep son comes home for the 45th anniversary of his parents' hotel, he threatens to expose the Rayburns' dark secrets and shameful past, pushing his siblings to the limits of family loyalty.

The series stars Kyle Chandler (Friday Night Lights), Ben Mendelsohn (The Dark Knight Rises), Linda Cardellini (Mad Men) and Norbert Leo Butz as the Rayburn siblings, and the iconic actress Sissy Spacek as the Rayburn matriarch.

The whole of season one is now available on Netflix so feel free to binge watch as much as you like Grin. Wherever you are up to in the show we’d like you to pop on and off this thread to discuss the series and share with us what your thoughts are! Everyone who takes part in the discussion will be entered into a prize draw to win an iPad Air 2 and a 6 month subscription to Netflix!

Note on spoilers: We want to hear your thoughts on everything, from plot twists to season finales and more - but if you’re talking anything that could reveal important plot details then please put Spoiler warning at the beginning of your post to alert others who may not have seen it.
Happy watching,

I watched the first episode last night. It was okay. Dh didn't like it very much.

The problem for me is that the characters are all so unlikeable. Except perhaps the sister.

I'll watch another couple to see if it gets any better.

MagersfonteinLugg · 22/03/2015 23:25

Oh this series is so addictive.
Pity there's only 13 episodes.
Am on ep 8 and loving it.

lukkilu · 22/03/2015 23:57

Ooh I'd never even heard of this, it sounds great! Unfortunately I don't have Netflix but will definitely be keeping an eye out for this x

ChopperGordino · 23/03/2015 00:13

I found the first episode a bit confusing as I couldn't work out the timelines (like when they discovered the woman's body and whether that was past/present/future), but after persevering to the next episode I got that figured out. It's intriguing so far, and good acting. I enjoyed Orange is the new black much more though.

melvis · 23/03/2015 09:52

I hadn't even heard of this until it appeared in our Netflix recommendations last night. We're going to start watching it this evening, hopefully it'll be a great replacement for Better Call Saul!

bubbles3563 · 23/03/2015 10:28

Ok, that's it. I'm moving to the Florida Keys and run a guest house for newly weds. Is anyone else really enjoying this show despite it being a bit dark and brooding?

bubbles3563 · 23/03/2015 10:29

I'm just watching episode 5... when I should be doing something far more productive! I can se this taking up large chunks of my time until it finishes... and then a long wait for the second season!

funkyfish586 · 23/03/2015 11:01

I have thoroughly enjoyed all Netflix series.. Bates Motel was AMAZING as is better call Saul. I cant wait to watch Bloodline :)

scoobzpapa · 23/03/2015 11:32

karenrailton · 23/03/2015 11:47

ellie872 · 23/03/2015 12:17

So far so good!

cocochips · 23/03/2015 14:01

Netflix is a Godsend

Sixgeese · 23/03/2015 14:43

Another who doesn't have Netflix, I am beginning to feel that I am missing out, and that is despite spending a small fortune on Sky each month.

gemima27 · 23/03/2015 15:23

looks brilliant.....great to watch when littles ones in bed

Iwasbornin1993 · 23/03/2015 16:26

Just watched the first episode of this as I too like a PP needed a new series to watch following binge watching The Good Wife!

Liking it so far - and it takes a lot for me to like a new series after only one show so that's a plus. Looking forward to the second episode now I'm intrigued due to the cliffhanger at the end of the first!

stefalfie11 · 23/03/2015 17:54

Havent seen this advertised until now but definitely looks like something that my partner and I would enjoy watching!

aless02 · 23/03/2015 18:32

OOO LOOKS GOOD, CAN'T WAIT TO WATCH IT

stewaris · 23/03/2015 18:40

This looks excellent and really interesting. Will watch and see how it goes.

Ritakd · 23/03/2015 18:50

Saw it last night & have it bookmark to watch. Looks great & hopefully as good as Breaking Bad - still in mourning for it though!

spiroo · 23/03/2015 20:34

I do not have Netflix :( I wish I have one as netfix seem provide good progs

Liquorice13 · 23/03/2015 20:37

I need to get Netflix as there looks to be so many great series I haven't seen. I'm hooked on Game of Thrones at the moment

Clairej81 · 23/03/2015 22:23

Going to have to get Netflix soon, sounds like I feel like I'm missing out. I will have to go round to DH parents to see what it is like.

debbriana · 23/03/2015 22:50

Am not in love yet with this. Am starting to fall in love with it. I found watching episode two and three difficult. Hopefully it will get better. I hate the bullying.

Dreamgirl1111 · 23/03/2015 23:18

I could not stop myself watching it until the end. The story is cleverly woven and hooks you up. Pieces of the puzzle will fit together only in the last episode. Brilliant performance too! I would definitely recommend Bloodline.
Next one to see on Netflix is The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidth: hilarious!

MagersfonteinLugg · 23/03/2015 23:57

Reminds me of BB.
Watching the victim turn into the baddie.
Very clever.
On EP 12 and the tension is tangible.
