To celebrate the launch of the new Vodafone family price plan (Red+) and that this Christmas you can also enjoy a 3 month NOW TV Sky Movies with Red 4G Vodafone want to know what your fail safe film is for travelling with children!

Vodafone say "We all know those long journeys with children, especially at christmas time when they are even more excited, can feel a bit endless. These days, technology makes this a bit easier! With a 3 month NOW TV Sky Movies Pass from Vodafone, you can select a film to help pass the time for children".

Vodafone has also launched a new plan, designed specifically for families. Red+ gives you one data allowance to share and you can even cap your kids’ data so they don't go over their limit. You'll get one simple bill for all devices, saving you money compared to individual plans, and you'll also get unlimited calls and texts.

The Vodafone Digital Parenting Guide can be found here: www.vodafone.co.uk/family

So whether your children climb over seats to catch yet another screening of Frozen, or have a secret sob to Toy Story 3, please share the film you can be quietly confident will give you some peace on the journey and keep the kids occupied.

Add your comment to this thread and you’ll be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £250 Hamleys voucher (can be used online and in the stores)

Please note your comments may be used by Vodafone or MN on Vodafone pages, social media or possibly elsewhere - please only add a comment if you're happy for it to be used.

Thanks and good luck

Mostly we find that pens and paper works a treat.... Soooooo many games can be played.... But if its a reallyyyyyyy long "are we there yet" trip, we use the good old JINGLE ALL THE WAY (Arnold Schwarzenegger).... Kids think its great, plus its definitely one of my faves too..... :)

Frozen seems to be the film of the moment but I love all the classics - elf is my personal favourite!

cluckyhen · 23/11/2014 20:23

Ipod, ipad and dvd's have never failed us yet!

GatoradeMeBitch · 23/11/2014 20:24

The Polar Express, they love it! Though the Peanuts Christmas Special is always popular too - and I love the soundtrack, we play it in the car a lot in December!

montiefletcher · 23/11/2014 20:32

Anything is better than looking out of the car window, my children are not fussed on what they watch they appreciate what they have

mummylonglegsme · 23/11/2014 20:40

My little boy loves playing jigsaws on his iPad, he doesn't make a murmur in the car if he is doing that

kel1981 · 23/11/2014 21:16

Elf or frozen will keep them glued!

12LuDo · 23/11/2014 21:16

It used to be Toy Story, but Despicable Me has now taken over!

mar1eb3ll · 23/11/2014 21:17

My husband has to sit in the car and feel travel sick whilst playing little games such as peek-a-boo and occupying her with finger puppets!

candish63 · 23/11/2014 21:30

Home Alone 2! They love it!

mamof3boys · 23/11/2014 21:49

Mine love colouring in when travelling. It's the only thing that causes no fuss.

mumpetuk · 23/11/2014 21:55

Any Harry Potter, works everytime.

grannybiker · 23/11/2014 22:02

Would like to post something imaginative and creative, but honesty overcomes - plug 'em in to the DS or a DVD. Kids raised on electronic games aren't fobbed off with Eye-Spy and sing-alongs, sadly :(

fairyprincess79 · 23/11/2014 22:13

Madagascar for us. I think I might be able to recite it word for word..... Or, Peppa Pig. Again....word for word!

littlemisstrivia · 23/11/2014 22:17

Definitely the Polar Express

redstararnie76 · 23/11/2014 22:28
