Netflix would like to know how you’ll be spending your time now that the kids are back at school. Maybe you’ll be finishing that blog post you started writing two months ago. Or perhaps you’ll be finally making use of your neglected gym membership. Or you might want treat yourself to a precious moment relaxing with your feet up, a cup of tea and your favourite Netflix show.

Netflix is available anywhere where there’s a Wi-Fi connection, and can be watched on numerous devices, including mobiles, tablets, smart TVs and games consoles. With a huge selection of quality films and award-winning TV shows, including access to Netflix’s exclusive original programmes, there’s always something new to discover.

You can see how other mums are using Netflix by visiting the Netflix Bloggers page here.

So, how will you be using Netflix now that you have a bit more time to yourself? Do you work part-time and savour your afternoons relaxing after a hectic morning by indulging in an episode of Suits? Are you grabbing an hour to yourself catching up on Orange is the New Black on your iPad while luxuriating in the bathtub? Once the kids are safely tucked up in bed, are you and your DH enjoying binge-watching the final season of The Killing on your smart TV? Whatever it is, Netflix would love to hear about it!

Everyone who posts on this thread will be entered into a prize draw to win a £250 Love2Shop voucher.

Thanks and good luck,

AS a teacher, now the kids are back at school I have zero free time. Would love to join in with friends talking about Netflix films, programmes, etc

RAFdad · 15/09/2014 21:51

Finally getting my CV together. I have 15 months before leave the forces. Plenty time now.

Anaisa · 15/09/2014 22:00

Mr Selfridge is my guilty pleasure. I have one free day a week before going back to work full time next month. So I am desperately enjoying what's left of my maternity by binge watching Netflix Smile

Am annoyed with Netflix. AngryAngry

I need to watch Season 3 and 4 of Homeland but it is not on Netflix.

Am so cross!

What is the criteria to get all the Seasons on there?

I also need Modern Family 3, 4 and 5.

Cambam2010 · 16/09/2014 09:31

My DP has just got a subscription to Netflix and I plan on watching a lot of the tv series' that I have missed out on and have refused to watch because I missed the first part

lynniep · 16/09/2014 14:18

I am extraordinarily sneaky and watch fringe on my mobile whilst in the bath. DH cannot understand why I'm in there so long - I am simply multi-tasking!

ouryve · 16/09/2014 20:04

I am resuming the Forth Bridge-esque task of sorting the house out and getting it re-decorated. I might finish painting the stairs, one day.

And I prefer to listen to music, during the day, when the kids are off.

BabyBellasMumma · 17/09/2014 13:28

Since my DD started school last week i have watched a sneaky episode of breaking bad on Netflix every day while my DS naps! I need to break this habit or my housework and ironing will never get done!

likklemum · 17/09/2014 18:20

I always watch Modern Family when I'm doing the ironing working from home Can't wait to dip into some more box sets and Jen An films.

Bankholidaybaby · 17/09/2014 19:35

I'm currently working my way through Jonathan Creek, Homeland, House of Cards and lots of films.

sanfairyanne · 17/09/2014 22:33

gardening

then walking dead of an evening Smile

sfancy · 18/09/2014 13:08

I will be watching Breaking bad now that the kids are back in school!

cheekylittledevil · 18/09/2014 14:22

Me too sfancy - I've got a few episodes of Breaking Bad to catch up on!

TheSporkforeatingkyriarchy · 18/09/2014 18:13

Not really got more time than usual to watch things, but my husband, myself and our lodger have been enjoying watching Hunter X Hunter on Netflix these past few weeks. Our lodger even offered to give my bus-riding partner a lift to work (nightshift) so he could watch one more episode with us/

angiem32 · 19/09/2014 06:33

Whilst my little man is at nursery I always use that one main day a week for cleaning but i'd be lying if I said I hadn't been indulging in an hour of some of my favourite shows as a little break in-between jobs! I have also been using it as my boyfriend has been playing football once a week so when he's out playing and the little one's in bed it's great to settle down with a hot chocolate and indulge in some lovely telly me-time!

Tinyminx · 19/09/2014 14:10

When my children go to their dad's on a Sunday, my partner and I are sitting down to catch up on classic films I've never seen. I never usually stop, but I light a real fire, get a cup of earl grey or a glass of red and snuggle up to get involved in the Shawshank Redemption, or Insomnia. This weekend it's going to be Good Will Hunting. And as I flick through the films available I can see those long winter nights are going to be film fests.
Me time, we time.

CarolynLiddell · 20/09/2014 08:36

Two free mornings a week!! Woo hoo. I will be trying to fit in a bit more exercise.

We have had Netflix for a while and it's great for the kids and for us. Never stuck for something to watch.

Chell53 · 20/09/2014 16:18

I work from home and have some really tedious tasks as part of my job. Having something to watch at the same time makes it a bit more stimulating for my brain so I've been catching up with a few American tv shows. Never used to have the time to keep up with them but now I'm onto Breaking Bad since everyone's been telling me about it and of course Orange is the New Black.

jcyclops · 20/09/2014 16:22

I'll be out whenever possible - I won't be watching TV!

DJASKEW · 20/09/2014 16:28

when the other half is watching the footie, I can watch what I want to on the laptop, wherever in the house I want!

superkittycat · 20/09/2014 16:34

Finally watching Orange Is The New Black - so I can get as excited about it as everyone else is!!

maryandbuzz1 · 20/09/2014 16:45

I will be watching old movies with my feet up and a cuppa!

funkyfish586 · 20/09/2014 16:45

I just love watching all the Louis Theroux documentaries so will be spending my time watching them :0)

sarahann1984 · 20/09/2014 16:47

I will be using it to watch Orange is the New Black as I have heard it is fantastic.

funkyfreks · 20/09/2014 16:51

I'm gonna watch some films that I missed from my younger days like Crimson Tide - WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT? - JERRY MAGUIRE and SWINGERS.
