Netflix would like to know how you’ll be spending your time now that the kids are back at school. Maybe you’ll be finishing that blog post you started writing two months ago. Or perhaps you’ll be finally making use of your neglected gym membership. Or you might want treat yourself to a precious moment relaxing with your feet up, a cup of tea and your favourite Netflix show.

Netflix is available anywhere where there’s a Wi-Fi connection, and can be watched on numerous devices, including mobiles, tablets, smart TVs and games consoles. With a huge selection of quality films and award-winning TV shows, including access to Netflix’s exclusive original programmes, there’s always something new to discover.

You can see how other mums are using Netflix by visiting the Netflix Bloggers page here.

So, how will you be using Netflix now that you have a bit more time to yourself? Do you work part-time and savour your afternoons relaxing after a hectic morning by indulging in an episode of Suits? Are you grabbing an hour to yourself catching up on Orange is the New Black on your iPad while luxuriating in the bathtub? Once the kids are safely tucked up in bed, are you and your DH enjoying binge-watching the final season of The Killing on your smart TV? Whatever it is, Netflix would love to hear about it!

Everyone who posts on this thread will be entered into a prize draw to win a £250 Love2Shop voucher.

Thanks and good luck,

Today I cleaned the whole house to the accompaniment of several series of Peep Show. It makes it slightly more bearable.

So many NetFlix threads Smile

My DCs are at Uni and I buy them netflix subscriptions for Xmas. They really appreciate it and I love the fact it lasts all year. DC1 is working away somewhere without a TV but he can watch netflix on his laptop.

There is this lovely time in the day when Husband goes back out to work and my son is napping and I have this lovely thing called 'time for myself'! I like to plonk my laptop up on the windowsill and catch up on my shows whilst I wash up. Other times, I use the Netflix app on the TV with a familiar show like Modern Family on in the background whilst I catch up with any emails/messages, writing etc or to watch something whilst I work out! Haha I have to be distracted by a TV show to do any sort of exercise because I am so un-motivated otherwise!! Or I put my laptop on the toilet seat and watch a film whilst having a bath!

I am currently watching The Killing and LOVE it! I love the versatility of Netflix. How, my husband can be watching a film in one room on his Xbox, I can be watching something completely different on my latop in another room at the same time! There is always a place I can rest my laptop to put shows/films on for either me or for my son that is out of his reach but he can still watch! We three all have our own lists, too, which is a great feature.

I promise you I do other stuff with my time than watch Netflix though!!

My eldest is back at school but also having a 2 year old and a business to run does tend to limit my Netflix time during the day...

I do look forward to the evenings when both children are (finally!) asleep and my husband and I settle down to Breaking Bad. Only three episodes to go and I am utterly gripped. I'll also be getting stuck into the intriguing-looking selection of documentaries on Netflix that I've recently discovered and added to My List.

Everyone keeps telling me I need to watch Orange is the New Black so I may spend the next few months going through all of the episodes.

Waiting for the new series of 'orange is the new black', really enjoyed it. Unsure whether to keep Netflix though as I don't think there are enough newish films.

I've been working on building up the stock for my shop with Dr Who on Netflix in the background.

The only issue is that I end up watching about 8 episodes in a row. I'm half expecting someone from their headoffice to call me up to check that I'm okay.
"That's 7 continuous hours of Dr Who, Ms *. We're just calling to see if you need us to send help".

I have recently bought a gizmo called a Chromecast which enables me to watch Netflix straight onto the telly. which is fab - I love it. I am addicted to the series 24 at the minute and am catching up on all the series whenever I can. I also want to watch Orange is the New Black! Really enjoying the Netflix

Now the baby is sleeping better and we have our evenings back, I'm going to be catching up big time - starting with breaking bad, and carrying on from there. Mostly watching tucked up in bed, with chocolate.

I've never used Netflix but its something I'd consider. Not that I get much more time now the kids are back at school!

I like to watch something while I'm enjoying my first and second cup of coffee and my breakfast. This is also the time my baby has her big breakfast feed (breastfeeding) and hopefully goes down for her first nap!

A bit of me time before properly starting my day and getting some stuff done!

I also love watching Netflix in the evenings with my husband after the kids are in bed. :)

Netflix has become a huge way to relax and have "me-time" when the kids are at school or in bed. I absolutely love, on a Friday night, for my DH to go retreat in the bedroom with a book and his music, the DCs in bed, and I have a glass of wine or three and have the whole of Netflix at my disposal. I've been making my way through Season 2 of Orange is the New Black. Bliss!

Netflix keeps toddler DD entertained on DH's smartphone while we sleep in a little but longer (5am wake-ups anyone?) at the weekend. Yesterday she was more interested in fighting the duvet so DH was going to turn it off but I'd never seen Tinkerbel before :o

Now DS is at school I have Fridays to spend with just DD. I'm really looking forward to it!

I watch orange is the new black on Netflix whilst ironing, every monday afternoon.

Looking forward to that, even though normally I don't like ironing.

I'm enjoying working my way through Charmed now my kids are back in school. My husband and I have enjoyed watching things like House of Cards together but since getting Netflix over a year ago I've binge watched many shows from OITNB to Buffy to Breaking Bad to Nurse Jackie.
I also love the eclectic selection of documentaries and when the kids come home we are working our way through Doctor Who again.
I'm disabled and really love having so much choice, especially on nights like tonight when I can't sleep :)

My husband set up Netflix for his ipad. My son uses it to watch films and utube for Super Heros, Power Rangers and more. I am unsure what my husband watches but he has it on each evening with his headset on! We do not have a tv for my sons room at the moment and having Netflix on the ipad makes it easier and less arguements over who wants to watch what ;o0. i have watched a few episodes of Once Upon a Time and was hoping it may have been on Netflix too, but i have heard a lot about Orange is the new black sounds good.

I am embarrassed to say that since the kids have gone back to school I have been watching Gossip Girl back to back. I tell them I have been working on my Open University course when in reality I am vegging out with an entertainment binge. I love Netflix. :)

I have to wait until DH is home and the kids are in bed to watch Orange is the New Black, but I've taken to watching films on my laptop during the day while I'm in the kitchen doing washing up or dinner prep. The kids are thrilled that Ninjago is on there too - we got a four episode DVD sampler AGES ago when it came out, they loved it and then it never came out on DVD over here (we only have a freeview package).
