Netflix would like to know how you’ll be spending your time now that the kids are back at school. Maybe you’ll be finishing that blog post you started writing two months ago. Or perhaps you’ll be finally making use of your neglected gym membership. Or you might want treat yourself to a precious moment relaxing with your feet up, a cup of tea and your favourite Netflix show.

Netflix is available anywhere where there’s a Wi-Fi connection, and can be watched on numerous devices, including mobiles, tablets, smart TVs and games consoles. With a huge selection of quality films and award-winning TV shows, including access to Netflix’s exclusive original programmes, there’s always something new to discover.

You can see how other mums are using Netflix by visiting the Netflix Bloggers page here.

So, how will you be using Netflix now that you have a bit more time to yourself? Do you work part-time and savour your afternoons relaxing after a hectic morning by indulging in an episode of Suits? Are you grabbing an hour to yourself catching up on Orange is the New Black on your iPad while luxuriating in the bathtub? Once the kids are safely tucked up in bed, are you and your DH enjoying binge-watching the final season of The Killing on your smart TV? Whatever it is, Netflix would love to hear about it!

Everyone who posts on this thread will be entered into a prize draw to win a £250 Love2Shop voucher.

Thanks and good luck,

I am bereft now we've finished watching Breaking Bad on Netflix. No idea what will be as good as that.. I watch Portlandia when my kids are in bed, and have discovered the stand up gigs of Aziz Ansari (Tom Haverford from Parks and Recreation). He is HILARIOUS!

When I can get near the telly, I'll be catching up on my vintage TV shows!

fluffyblueberry · 22/09/2014 16:25

Love watching series back to back - like breaking bad - while the kids are at school!! But I've also been going through film after film, either when the kids are in school, or when they're tucked in bed and my husband comes home!! I'm really enjoying seeing so many more films now and I enjoy some of the not-so-good films as much as the good ones sometimes! Before, I relied on reviews to not see a film, but now I realise you can still really get a lot of enjoyment out of plenty of 'flawed' films, they can be more interesting sometimes.

helcrai · 22/09/2014 16:51

I will be watching all those soppy, chick flick films on my one day off from work when the house is quiet- and there's no-one to laugh at me sobbing!

JWalker23 · 22/09/2014 17:55

I'd rewatch comedy :)

mwatmough · 22/09/2014 19:36

It is something that we are considering

26jibby · 22/09/2014 19:50

Fabulous times in the evening as my girls go to bed early. So nice glass of wine and a catch up on all the films I have missed over the years.

kel1981 · 22/09/2014 20:05

I'll be catching up on Orange is the New Black, hilarious!

rjsmum11 · 22/09/2014 21:02

lollylaus · 22/09/2014 22:40

We have just finished watching The Killing with Mirelle Enos and Joel Kinneman in. Absolutely brilliant series, highly recommend if you enjoy a crime drama with lots of plot twists and turns!

lollylaus · 22/09/2014 22:41

We are planning on moving on to homeland now, to be watched once the kiddies are in bed!

Flickabella · 22/09/2014 22:42

One day I dream of having time to relax with a glass of wine and a box set on Netflix!

libby38 · 22/09/2014 23:30

I love watching films only rated for adults like crime or dramas I haven't had time to watch in the past. When the children are at home they like watching their films for an hour or two. I have time to cook tea while my boys are relaxing enjoying their favourite films on Netflix. mum and boys are happy and netflick has saved me loads of money in the long run.

HelenRemi411 · 23/09/2014 09:46

I will be using netflix to catch up on some of the series I have missed and going to bed early curling up under the duvet and watching all the classic films - the best thing about the cooler weather is the winter duvet hot chocolate, kids being at school and a fantastic service and selection of films on hand!

eteo · 25/09/2014 21:22

i am so glad that my husband scribed to netflix and now we catch up all the tv series show! Loving it!

Moogdroog · 25/09/2014 23:00

I get just over two hours a day without the DC as DD has just started nursery. Now that the brief flurry of getting some stuff done for the first time in years, is coming to an end, I intend to get stuck into something on Netflix.
With ones of these Brew and some of these BiscuitCake
Preferably something DH wouldn't dream of watching, just haven't decided what quite yet Grin

I have come on here to complain about Netflix. I need them to set up some sort of lock out system so as I do not end up binging on great TV shows when I am supposed to be writing a dissertation. It is just not on.

Can they lock me out from 9am-3pm? Please can you build this function.

NecesitoDormir · 26/09/2014 12:07

If the OU had a course for history of Television I would be teaching it.

I am currently studying Theselittlelightsofmine and the OU are fabulous. Just keep away from the Netflix.

Prophetsong · 26/09/2014 17:44

I'm currently spending most of my day (and nights!) breastfeeding my new baby so I'm binge watching TV series on Netflix at the same time. Just finished Homeland and now moving onto House of Cards....
