SN teens and young adults

Here are some suggested organisations that offer expert advice on SN.

Is it a special need if it is just temporary?

As DD is having sight problems atm

We have been told they will 'just go' but we don't know when

So what should I be doing about support for her? Does anyone know how I should approach the school?

'Temporary' is such an odd word it could mean a few hours or several months

Katymac, hi

Firstly, I think this is a very slow moving part of SN, so you should probably re-post in Special Needs: Children.

But yes, even if only temporary, it is a SN, and you need to get support for your DD.

You need to make an appointment to see the SENCO. Go from there.

Thanks Lou
