Do I presume he is at a SN school and therefore falls under that for priority, so with regards to other kids?

Adifficult one.

Personally, ds1 and ds3 won't be having it as they have had SF and I feel ds3 at elast was possibly vacicne damaged but had they not had it I would consider it for the benefit of other children if some were severely immuno compromised.

But I certainly wouldn't like having it sprung on me and would also not have signed the form whilst I thought about it.

All things being equal, with my boys despite the ASD theya re healthy and fought offflu fine; but there are no children who are immuno suppressed at ds3's SNU. I know when a child with cancer's aprents aked us to get DS3's MMR booster it was a very, very ghard decision to say no (and then taken on basis that he has previous jab).

My DS is the same as yours Boden. He is 14, has ASD and goes to special school and has fairly robust health generally. But I've had NO contact about swine flu jab. I think I would agree if/when we are asked simply because he's never been adversely affected by any other jabs. Personally I don't feel strongly against it in our situation but it is obviously different for you, hearing what your DH said. I would be interested to hear why he is against as I am always willing to change my mind and it seems I have time to do so.
