I don't know whether I should become my nearly 16 year olds apointee. I want her to be financially independent but I worry about the pip process. She has ASD with a PDA Profile , ADHD inattentive type, Arfid and really bad mental health which is not being supported due to long waiting lists. She doesn't really engage with familiar people in her life at the moment even with me she has shut down and with drawn. She really wants independence but with her PDA any small task is a demand which she completely refuses to do or does with repercussions such as causing high anxiety fight or flight. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
