I was talking to my MIL who was saying her DG who is in mainstream school and has low support special educational needs, has an aversion to most foods and she didn’t know if he’d ever seen a doctor about it when i asked her. I said that at my DS specialist school where most of the DC have high or very high support needs, a lot of them have similar problems with food. Her response was in my day you were often lucky to get a meal so you ate what was put infront of you. I just felt the response was different for different children .
