I did mention this in the FF thread and I know no one here can give me any answers really but I just need to get how I am feeling out before I burst as I know I am taking it out on dh.
DS2(10) has severe adhd, ODD and possible AS and ds3(4) is atypical asd, non verbal, sld and poss adhd.
My LA in thre wisdom have had a revamp of thier short breaks/respite and are only giving it to children with a social worker and who are deemed severely disabled meenig that my boy have been left out as they have also missed out kids with asd completely. There is something called positive futures but this is realy for the more able and over 5's and even then they can only have 2 hours a day as it is not ofted checked, my ds2 has been offered 2 hours a week and ds3 doesnt qualify in fact he will get nothing.
We now know that we ddont qualify for FF and direct payments are being funny and keep coming back to us for more info. Even if we do get it I have no idea if we will get someone to do it as I am certain we will only get 4 hours a week and we have no family who could do it.
I am terified about being stuck at home for 6 weeks with them both as DH is working full time and we need the money.
Wow that feels better just writing it down, still very worried.
