my dd is 7 with autism, she has server speech and communication disorder and distorted speech. She is in mainstream school and at the annual review meeting/transition to juniors we all said that the school with the salt input had done as much as they can and that a specialist school was needed.
I am in Berkshire so does anyone know of any in the area of Berks/Bucks/Surrey?

What is it that you want for her, and feel is best for her? They have no right to say mainstream cannot do anything else if mainstream is what you want to pursue. Obviously there can be issues of being where you don't feel wanted, competence, etc. But they should not just be closing the door and saying they have nothing else to offer!
