Awaiting Tribunal?

Hi,

We have a date for Nov and I was just wandering if it's normal not to hear a thing from Sendist or LEA in the meantime?
Got my letter back from Sendist giving me dates etc and since then have not heard a thing.
Also do the LEA usually give in at the very last minute.....or how often does it actually get to Tribunal hearing?

Anyone who has been to the actual hearing......what is it like?

Thanks
x

My LA has been fairly quiet since we lodged our appeal - they carried out an extra observation and sent an extra bit of evidence but they didn't respond at all to any of the evidence we'd sent.

You should definitely get a witness form to say who the LA will put forward at the hearing, plus an official response within 30 working days. Then you get a final bundle and location of the hearing 10 working days before the tribunal.

I've never been to a hearing as the LA pulled out before our last one (but we have another one coming up this month). Have you called SEND to ask for the 'Right to be heard' DVD? It shows you what a hearing is supposed to be like, with actors.
