Welcome autumnsmum

Asking school is standfard. now that deosn't mean you won;t be refused if they don't say anything but IME it's usually relatively easy to get voer that as NAS have elaflets on their site pointing out that ASD is soemthing that avries between settings; in fact it is a good diea to priunt that off (if youc an't easily locate it e-mail their advice line, they sent me a link to it) and staple it to a letter explaining how that appertains to your child.

Also, as term time is almost voer them may not get a reesponse froms chool anyway- if tehre is another specialist invovled, you can also suggest in the letter that should term dates mean that no response is received, they can contact XXXXX instead (we put PAeds details).
