What a nice day we had today, for a change.

Was DD's last day of nursery (until august) and they had a little party for kids and parents, the kids sang songs and did actions and DD sat in her special chair and joined in a bit and got excited.

All the teachers were lovely about DD and we got asked by two mums to meet up in the summer.

Then two sleep counsellors came to help me with DD's poor sleeping.

Then we visited a centre here which provides free hydrotherapy, music therapy, art therapy, has a sensory room and provides 1:1 care for respite sessions of 2 hours several times a week during school holidays!

Just felt very supported for a change!!!

I did however totally injure my arm as DDs buggy tipped over sideways and i caught it and sprained my arm, but that didn't even spoil my day!!

How lovely to hear about a good experience!

I hope the sleep help and the holiday respite prove to be as good as they sound and you can enjoy lots of lovely time together over the holidays too.

And no mention of men on buses!!!

Thanks!

I hope the sleep counsellors help, they are adamant that now DD is 3 she doesn't need a nap though, and I think she does..we shall see!!

My DD2 needed a nap in the afternoon until her 5th birthday. Granted she didn't have sleep issues but pre-school and then school wore her out so much that she couldn't function in the afternoon without one.

Pray that horrid man gets a job looking at different warty bottoms over the summer and you never have to see him again

Sounds like a lovely day

Hope the sleep people help. DS2 still has the occasional nap and he is 5 shortly.
