Ds neuro refered him as he is convinced something more going on other than the cp and epilepsy ds was orginly dx with low muscle tone hypermoblity and Gdd

but have found out recetly that sone of ds joints are not formed properly which would explain the dislocated look and some of the restricted movement .Do know there going to do some muscle samples

but how do they decide what else there going to look at/for ? How do they decide what genetic issues there looking for or chromsome problems

They generally take some tissue or blood, and look at it at a 'macro' level - are there the correct number of pairs, etc., and a 'micro' level - are there tiny deletions, or translocations. This might help

Ty know right back at beginning they did basic blood tests fragile x etc .But can't help wondering if neuro has had talk and they have something on mind there looking at
