Hi posted before about this. DD is now on it and is managing to take the tablet (sometimes with more fuss than others!!!) However its not made any difference to her nightwakings. Does it take time to make any difference? I know the other melatonin worked straight away in terms of noticin she got to sleep a lot quicker on going to bed. She's still waking so early and staying awake and she's absolutely shatterd!!! WE had a very emotional crying tired little girl this morning but she jsut can't sleep!!!!

She is just taking 2mg at the minute w2hich I give her about 2 hours before sleep time.

thanks pipin. She gets off ok its just keeping her there. Apparently this one is only done in tablet form I've been told. Her old melatonin was capsule which you could pop into a drink. She was on the 2mg of the short acting melatonin which generally got her off which I presume is why they are starting her with 2mg of this one. The information with the circadin does say to use it 2 hours before bedtime though whereas the other short acting one she used to take about 20 mins before bed.
