I did but only this morning when I got an email from NDCS telling me. Bit late telling us on the week, can't get anything organised.

RaggedRobin · 28/06/2010 21:06

no, and i teach deaf children .

in my defence, we tend to do more for "learn to sign" week in october.

RaggedRobin · 28/06/2010 21:08

also, our summer holidays start tomorrow, so not the best week to be raising awareness about anything in scottish schools!

unfitmother · 28/06/2010 21:46

No, I didn't and I'm deaf!

MayorNaze · 29/06/2010 10:52

that is exactly what i thought rebl

ah well...never mind...well done anyway NDCS etc...

if anyone does hear (pardon the hideously un PC pun ) of anything or is doing anything, stick it on here??

thanks

I never know when this is and I am a Teacher of the Deaf! lol... We tend to get the NDCS bus in and have our own awareness day as our Mainstream school doesn't acknowledge Deaf Awareness day.

well you're just in time for this years one redapple, National Deaf Awareness Week, 2nd - 8th May 2011 Smile

anyone doing anything this year?

redapple80 · 21/04/2011 11:54

oooh will have to get onto that. Being a small unit in a mainstream school we don't get a chance to do a lot!
