dd2 has adhd and I'm finding it really hard the last few weeks,shes been on meds since 10 and is 14 now but as far as she's concerned it stops her fun and often refuses to take them unless going to school.
I'm really starting to dislike her a lot now all we seem to do is fight.I also have a ds who has asd/adhd and she is really awful to him constantly putting him down.No matter how often I tell her he will need lifelong care she doesn't seem to get it.I really don't know what to do anymore as if I get in touch with the psychiatric team they'll just say that I can't make her take it.
If she takes her meds she's the most lovely polite girl you could meet but I'm dreading next week when she finishes school for summer as I know she'll only take meds on school days. Does any other parent of a adhd teen have similar problems and if so whats the solution,i'm desperate.
