When do they let you know about transport for school.Know ds will get as its a unit and is long journey .Also know Lea have passed it over to transport along with note that ds wont be able to board transport unaided ,Would need lifting and also need help getting on to seat.
Then there is issues of carseats ds is tiny 15kg and 1m tall so obviously needs carseat .We did struggle ourselves recently he is to short to travel on high back booster seat even with seat belt guides Halfods and mothercare both confirmed that the belt cuts to high on his kneck plus ds sits sacral so will slide under them
Best way would be to travel in his chair as this needs to go anyway ,But transport said its to early to start worrying about it yet
