Of any clinics within the northwest that will do a mri brain scan private?
I have 6yr old twins 1 has had a brain scan and it has shown up he has abnormalities of his brain which explain his gdd,learning difficulties and various other health problems..
His twin also has gdd,learning difficulties selective mutism,glue ear,few sensory problems and i want him to have a brain scan to rule out any abnormalities like his twin..
Their paedatrician is refusing to do it his reason is well we know he is delayed (currently 3yr delay) so no need for a brain scan ..we want one done to we know if he has abnormalities as well to rule them out iykwim?
But i cant seem to find anywhere that will do mri scan privately on a child as he would need sedating for it anyone had one done ? x
