Has nyone been through either assessment and if so, what has the experience been like? Would you recomment it?

We've done BIBIC and will go every 6 months. I highly recommend them. A very thorough and intensive 2 days but a very do-able therapy program to come out of it and they seem very knowledgable, esp with sensory issues.

We got a lot out if it, and even DD1 (NT) can't wait to go back! DD2 (sn) was exhausted after the 2 days, she was only 2.9 yr at the time.

hi we have also done bibic and my ds loved it there and we went on two occassions but it does cost and to be honest it wasnt anything i didnt alreay know or have in any previous assments and nobody seemd to take notice of what was in the report either so we didnt pay and go back again .

we did BIBIC & their developmental assessment was v. good. They also did a CARS test - our NHS paed diagnosed ds (ASD) purely on the basis of the BIBIC report no further assessments.

tbh their therapy programme wasn't really relevant to ds - he doesn't have any sensory issues - so we didn't go back for a second visit.

Thanks. Will contact them.

In the leaflet they sent us, it states that the assessment will only cost £50 - donation for adminstration charges. Hope that is true.
