Applied ages ago following DS's diagnosis and this morning there is £665 in my account which I think represents about 10 weeks. So must be getting some motability I think. DS is very impulsive and not safe around roads so this is about right I think. Nightmare form though.

Soooo - am flush today and DS is going to have the swing scooter which his friend rides and which he borrows regularly at schooltime - it's improving his co-ordination no end. It will pay for his drama group at the special needs centre and it will contribute to the petrol costs of getting him there twice a week for sessions (sometimes twice in one day).

Am so relieved - thought they might turn me down for some reason.

Nice one, hope he enjoys his scooter.

Excellent news - hope you get your letter soon confirming it. For me the best bit was reading how long the award was for and heaving a huge sigh of relief that the horrible form didn't have to be done again for x amount of time.

(Thanks for liking my summer name-change on my thread. I'm hoping that this username will be relatively easy to muck about with seasonally )
