Hi There. Firstly let me say this is my business but the LittleBig bike is perfect for kids with special needs. Basically its a balance bike that grows and you can add pedals onto it when your child is confident balancing. We've had parents with kids with downs syndrome (7 year old) and another 8 year old with cerebral palsy and it worked great for them.

You could just buy a normal bike and get a bikey person to take off the pedals and chain wheels!!
