Anyone going to London Zoo special needs day on June 12th?

I went for the first time last year and we had a fab time.

Yep were going got our tickets

I keep forgetting to do mine . I want to phone first to see if they are going to have mobility scooter available this year. I really want OH to come but I cant push him in a wheelchair (not that he would use one) and push a double buggy .

starlight its a bit odd but there is no link on zoo website. If you google special needs day london zoo, you will get loads of links to various disability organisations. You can get the fly and booking form that way.

I didnt book last year, just turned up and paid. Not free but much cheaper. Essential carer and kids under 3 are free.

So I only have to pay for DS2 (half price). Its a bit ironic really, 4 of us will be going and the only one with SN has to pay

We're going to Legoland that week sponsored by the Rotary Club; siblings included so a nice family day. Neither DH or I can cope with London or transport , but we know quite a few people who can!

We are doing fine thanks. DS is now in special school and getting on really well.

The form says they recommend sending it back by 6 June, but you can pay on the day too.
