Now I know I have not been around for a while, what with end of term, extra speech therapy and hols I have been a little preoccupied and have to catch up with all what has been going on but whilst we were on the extra therapy I met another woman with a little girl just like my ds. Yes finally I have met one of the many thousands out there (so I am told). We were able to exchange experiences and similarities and now many demons are put to rest. I now can accept that ds will not talk NT overnight and that it is an uphill struggle but I am really not on my own and there is another child like him!! and that it is one of those things!! he will go to school in Sept and be fully supported but the question I ask here is why do I feel sad when I look at his tiny shirt and sweatshirt and wonder where oh where can I get a pair of trousers to fit??!!! Do you think they may let me go to school with him??!! perhaps the last bit is down to the large G & T I have here! overall much happier and relaxed.

I'm so glad you've found someone who understands what you're going through (apart from us of course ).

Good luck with the trouser hunt too!

I know you guys are here but it really helped meeting someone in the flesh and knowing those little similarities ds displays.

Glad you have met some one who makes you feel good about everything. It is nice to have someone to chat with.
We get little trousers for ds3 from M&S, they are a good fit for little ones.
