OK, have posted in Chat about this but it's gone off people's radar a bit, and since I know I've got lots of lovely MN friends in here...

You all know of my friend H, who has CP and was in my last film? Well today, she's in hospital undergoing tests for breast cancer.

I'm so scared, need to distract myself (she's said she's going to text me, whatever the outcome). I'm trying to be positive, but she's had a cyst before, and said it was painful and that this lump has given her no pain.

I'm scared, another friend's dad has terminal lung cancer, so I really want this to be a false alarm.

Have also started another thread in here which if you could take a look at, it'd be most appreciated.

Hope all went well - the majority of these things are something other than cancer, so try not to worry.
Also, even in the worst-case scenario, there are much better therapies today even than 10 years ago.
She's lucky to have a good friend like you around, whatever happens

oh no! fingers crossed for a happy outcome for her

Thanks guys, but I fear the wait is longer than I thought. My mate has been on FB chat for ages to me, and has been online all day! So looks like I can't let go of this horrible nervous not knowing state yet!

Hoping it's good news, both her and her mum are lovely people and I'd hate for them to have to go through the choas this could bring. Ditto her younger sis but don't know if they've told her yet.

Fingers crossed

Lollipop if it is bad news it does not have to be a death sentence not the same kind of cancer but I have been in remission for some time now and things are moving fast in the medical world

roundthebend, congratulations and I wish you continued good health.

Thank you all for your kindness, unfortunately, I must have left my hearing at home on Saturday, as her appointment is NEXT Tuesday, so got a while of waiting yet.

Here's hoping it's good news
