PS Lou- I STILL haven't emailed you (I know have over 2000 unread emails in the my inbox and can't bear to go near it.)

butterflymum · 09/07/2003 14:01

Lovely picture - thanks for sharing.

ThomCat · 09/07/2003 17:49

JimJams - how did you do that btw - put your lovely little boys pic up like that? I wouldn't mind doing the same, it's a nice thing to do, (esp after post in modelling thread about kids with DS not being likely to win a beauty contest!!!)

doormat · 09/07/2003 17:52

jimjams he is soooooo cute

fio2 · 09/07/2003 17:55

Thomcat they obviously havent seen your little darling then have they Wink

ThomCat · 09/07/2003 18:03

No babes, I think it's just you and Lou that have seen her - did you see her or was it Edisvold, can't remember. No offence was taken (well not really!;0) ) but if there are a few people that think kids with DS wouldn't win any contests perhaps us Mums need to show off about how beautiful our kids are. I know a picture only shows you what that kid looks like on the outside and it's what's inside that really matters, but all the same, I wouldn't mind posting a picture of Lottie up. I'm not doing it for compliments about her but I think it's a nice idea etc etc, see above.
So well done JimJams - how did you do it?

fio2 · 09/07/2003 18:36

no I havent seen her but I just imagine shes as beautiful as she sounds Smile I would post my two loonies up but I havent got a scanner.

lou33 · 09/07/2003 19:47

Have to add that TC's little Lottie is GORGEOUS!!!

Jimjams · 09/07/2003 19:51

That photo was taken at nursery and emailed to me by the owner. I already have some web pages so I just created another one and placed it on there.

I thought the bit about children with DS not winnning beauty contests was a reflection on society being so bloody prejudiced about disability, rather than the poster's own view. At least that's how I read the original comment becuase I went onto agree with it. I'd happily choose a child with DS as a winner! That's why I posted the pic on the thread- to show that you can be disabled and cute!

I'm going to remove the link soon- I feel a bit funny about him being on the web.

Almost there Lou- then I just need to find the address for tech

Just click on "contact another talker" at the top of the page Jimjams!

Jimjams · 09/07/2003 20:00

done it! although warning if I reply to you by email it'll be from a different address as I can only receive on my mumsnet registered address rather than send (does that make sense?)

MABS · 09/07/2003 20:43

gorgeous Jimjams, how do I see a piccie of your little treasure Thomcat? - she sounds such a poppet

lou33 · 09/07/2003 21:22

She's quite easy to bribe Mabs!

Davros · 09/07/2003 23:57

Oh Jimjams, have you deleted it? I only had a quick look. He IS cute. Was that a Harry Potter type outfit he was wearing?

Jimjams · 10/07/2003 07:56

Yeah I took it down Davros. It was a wizards outfit - from a halloween party at nursery (he hasn't changed much since halloween).

Hi Mabs - Just email Mumsnet and they'll give you my email address and I can email you a few pics. I promise to be selective and not send more than 3 or 4. I sent Lou loads of Lottie and my holiday villa etc and it took her 30 minutes to download!! Sorry about that agan Lou! xx

lou33 · 10/07/2003 14:34

It was worth it though TC.

ThomCat · 10/07/2003 14:53
