Just got a phone call to say that DS1 is getting a free place on the Listening Program. I only mentioned it in passing to the OT not expecting anything to come of it - and she has found a way to get him a funded place locally. This OT is a real star though - I have told her she should be running every other service too !

Thanks for reply - For some odd reason there is a duplicate of my thread with some other replies - and I am really sure this time that I did not press post message twice !

Quite soon I think - will keep you posted.

Excellent news, what a great OT! I didn't know you get a place to attend somewhere to have it administered to you, that must be new. I've still got the CD set we bought years ago, must dust it off and have another go or try it on myself!

Yes - it's such a surprise too when I was not really asking for it, just saying to OT in passing that I had heard others say it could help. I'm assuming we do it at home as well as attending the centre.
