Maclaren Major - rain cover

We have a maclaren major for dd -and require a rain cover the offical major cover requires you use the hood to keep it in place - so i'd have to always have the hood on in case it rained whilst out.

so my question is has anyone use a normal framed rain cover at all - like the ones from mothercare????

think the basic square type one from argos fits

I got one of eBay, its actually made for the Major, and fits well.

Mine was from ebay too and it's very good. Only thing was I bought the wrong one by mistake in the first place because the company were listing two different sorts. They were extremely helpful though in changing it straight away and making sure I got the right one. For that reason I still have the name and address of the company if that's any help.
