LEA fund Ind MS school

Anyone managed to get LEA to pay for this for their dc with asd?

Ds in MS class to big re sensory overload and only other is SN school. He has above av IQ so needs MS and is a copycat!

I have heard of one person who managed it with the arguement that if their child went to the indie they wouldnt need LSA support therefore it would be cheaper. LEA said they wouldnt do it again . I think you have to prove that other options wont work. (Not just this option is better) and that it is a good use of public money!!
