DS1 is almost 4 and starting school in October, and we were considering getting him an iPAd as he loves touchscreens. Anyone had this thought/know of any programmes?

DS1 is dyslexic, and getting him to use the laptop has been a massive transformation, typing, reading, educational games, laughing at You Tube etc.

I know it's not the same situation, just a similar experience of how technology has really helped.

I'd give it a go!

caro we've tried a laptop but he's more comfortable with the touchscreen so we will give it a go I think!

Same as roundthebend. Severely autistic ds1 lives my ipodtouch but it's a little too small - I'm really excited about the ipad.
