could anybody answer this DLA question

Have just checked my bank account and have been paid DLA - first time, very pleased! The form was stamped on something like the 12th of February, so I know some of the money is backpay for the period between that date and now, but how much advance payment will it be? Just trying to work out how much I will get weekly, haven't had letter yet. Thanks!

i think its usually paid every 4 weeks. how much you get depends on the rate awarded.

if you ring up and ask them now the payment has been made they should tell you xx

its something like 3 weeks back pay and includes 1 week in advance. least that's what I've always thought
