eek ds paperwork goes to panel this afternoon \lea caseworker just called .Am asking for either speech unit or ss as placement option
.Ds did one term in ms but that failed and he has had no placement due to moving since January so someone hold my hand please.

My first choice is a speech unit otherwise ss though the leA not so keen on ss as ds cognitave devlopment is normal though thats going do him no good since he cant hold a pen properly to write or learn to read phonetically as he is minmal verbal vowel sounds only so does not matter how potentially able he is if no one can teach him

Dd2's goes to panel on the 24th of may, we have been told that we will have to wait a couple of days after the panel to find out .

Oh bugger thought would hear by tomorrow at latest so means likely be next week since there so slow sending things out

why oh why can't they say on phone follow up on paper guess whose goi g to be phoning lea tomorrow they will no outcome as ds caseworker is at pAnel

If you know someone on the panel then you may be able to find out (phone ds's caseworker).

Yay I just heard that panel have agreed to ds having speech unit

The places will now be allocated on the 4th May trouble I now have can not see any of the units till well after then !!

good news! so when will they be starting him there then?

That is the problem there is a couple of units and Lea are asking me preference but I called them and can't see them till after 4th so jumping blindfolded
