Potty Readiness?

I was in the loo just when DS (almost 3) came in repeating the phrase, "Chane nap nap", half naked in his sleepsuit. When I had sorted myself out I saw a dirty nappy on the floor in the living room and a streak of poo on the sofa

Might he be ready? He is verbalising and aware.

Thank God the warm weather is here if he is.

oh sounds like it! Having just toilet trained my DS (aged 3), its all fresh in my mind. Stick a pair of pants on him and see how he gets on with the sensation of being wet. I found that they need to feel this first to understand how uncomfortable it is and will then be more willing to sit on potty. Go for it! Good luck!

Thanks for the advice, I'll try that! With DD (NT) I just waited until she was 3 and it happened almost overnight, no effort on my part, so I'm a bit apprehensive. Congrats on getting your DS trained
