tribunal advice

Hi...we are due to go to our SEND tribunal soon ,just got confirmation of the date, am getting nervous now!!Just a question ...has anyone had there independent advice ignored etc by the panel,have they completely agreed if they all say special school,or have they named m/s against all advice ,any tips would be great

independent advice won't be ignored. It will be treated as equal at worst, but possibly as more independent, particularly if you get your experts to write a 'declaration of truth' at the bottom. something like 'This is true to the best of my knowledge and my duty when writing this report is to the tribunal not the family who hired me.'

You can then point out to the tribunal that the LA report has no such declaration.
