Travel Insurance & Autism

No idea why it's only just entered my head but now begun to wonder if I should declare my DS's ASD as a pre-existing condition for the travel insurance.

Other than all the usual sensory issues & associated dyspraxia-type mobility probs, he doesn't actually have any "medical conditions".

So has anybody looked into this before?

We had travel insurance with Geenbee. I explained that DS1 has autism. They said it didn't matter as it wasn't considered a medical condition.

ds2'S ASD made no difference but his CP & asthma etc did.

Thanks, think I can rest easy on this now.

ASD, ADHD are conditions that are covered on our (M&S premier) insurance. We had trouble with a claim (car break in) with a previous insurer because of the 'unusual' things (DVD player) we had in the car to keep ds calm and entertained.
