Ds1 hand flapping

Sorry about the quality and how short the clip is, I took it on my phone and couldn't work out how to change the settings. He does this all day.

Thanks trouble, Ds1 has CP and does have some sensory issues (hates loud noises, like stroking things, licks his hands, bites his arm, flaps and rubs his tummy) He is 12 now and done this since he was small. The hospital refuse to assess him for anything as they hate duel dxd.

Any chance you can go private, or at least phone up a private person to talk through whether they would give a dual.

It just must be so stressful to live with niggles all the time and you'll go crazy.

If not, can you just try to beat them down?

Not saying it IS ASD. I don't think anyone here could from that, - sorry.

I just think that we need some advice on his senory issues. I managed to get another appointment with his consultant as he started to selfharm, and I am worried about that.

Can't afford to go private, I would in a shot if I could.

His consultant said that the handflapping isn't an issue, and the clip is very short, even when I said he does it all day, she just fobbed me off. His SENCo at secondary school had us in 3 months after he started, because he hadn't made any friends, and he was concerned about that. Ds1 isn't very sociable and likes to be indoors. Although he loves the trampoline
