part 4 naming school

i am about to reject ds proposed statement without total rewrite

schools not been named in part 4 yet as goes to panel for speech unit or ss

,Will rejecting the provisonal statement mean that if they name my prefered choice in part 4 on the 22nd april .Will it mean that ds cant attaend while i appeal the rest of the statement ?.Ds is currently out of school

You rejecting the proposed statement doesn't stop it happening. You can reject it but they will still have to finalise something, whether it be their proposed version or with changes. You then get to appeal the finalised Statement but, in the meantime, that Statement stands, so he'll go to the unit if that's what is named.

Ty that was my main worry if he gets the school I want naming on the statement will take care of a lit of what's wrong on it .know the school well enough that they put the child first but am not trusting the lea one bit
