Proud mummy moment

Not that exciting (well it is too me), dd2 answered a question. I asked her 'what is your name' and she answered , i never thought she would ever answer a question (other than 'what do you want' which is usually answered with 'biscuit'). She also asked someone else for a drink today (she normally only asks me).

These things make everything worth while. She has been a night-mare so far this week, she managed to mop the floor with a very wet mop whilst i was in the bath (flooded the sitting room) and managed to empty all the cupboards this morning whilst i was in bed and chucked my very expensive camera around the sitting room .

well done to your dd

Thanks fanjo

We have also been trying to teach her feelings (happy and sad) using picture cards, last night at bed time she was doing her little fake cry (which she does when she doesn't want to go to bed), i asked her 'is dd happy or sad' and she said 'dd sad', i then gave her a cuddle and asked her again and she said 'dd happy' .

Its so nice to be able to talk to her and get a reaction (other then echoing). She still pretends that she cant hear me when i use the word 'no' though.
