A BIBIC question.......

We're off to BIBIC this easter and we're making a holiday of it, so we're all going. Me, DH, DD1 (5yrs NT) and DD2 (2.9yrs SN). I wanted DH and DD1 to be in on everything but I'm not sure if it's kitted out for siblings etc, should DH and DD1 do their own thing whilst I'm with DD2?

I'd like us all to be together if possible (doesn't happen often enough), but not if it means a lot of grief. Any advice or tips greatly appreciated.

Thanks
x

we all went as a group when we visited for dd11.

we were: me, dh, dd1 (then 3.6, ASD) and dd2 (then 1ish, NT)

they were happy to have us aas agroup, and happy for dd2 to chew/dribble on anyhting she could get her hands on.

the only issue came when dd2 was completing the tasks for dd1 (eg building tower of bricks, etc) but we distracted her away ok.

we found having dd2 there as well helped break the ice for dd1, as it helped get her interested in things in each room. but the downside was that when dd2 got grumpy du to tiredness etc, that did distract dd1 too.

if we were going again (dd1 now 5.6, dd2 now 3) i think dd2 would be too much of a distraction, butt hen you may not have this issue as it's your younger dd who is SN.

I did think 11 was very impressive!!

I think as long as they are happy to have siblings around we'll take DD1 along. She's pretty good at entertaining herself and also encouraging DD2, so it might be a plus , thanks x

We've got a self catering cottage just west of Bridgwater, Ash-wembdon farm I think. The owners say it's a 15 min drive to BIBIC. No idea what it's like as it's our first time to BIBIC. We chose it as it worked out the same price as Premier Inn and we wanted our own kitchen etc (we're often up in the night, and loud).
