Education Solicitor

Can anyone reccommend a solicitor that specialises in Education, the one I am using is not much good and need to find someone else.

The NAS has a list here of solicitors with experience of ASDs. I can recommend Match Solicitors (London based) - one of the Partners is the legal advisor to the NAS advocacy service.

I freelance as a researcher for a very high-profile London barristers' chambers. They recommended Chris Barnett at Levenes to me when I wanted advice. I just had a quick chat with him but he seemed very down to earth and knowledegable.

You must use Fiona Slomovic. She knows more about SEN education law than most people have forgotten. She is also an advocate (not a solicitor) so is considerably cheaper. I use her myself and so do two pals - we all think she's great.
