Legoland - Height measurement scheme changed

Legoland has just reopened for the new season. They have changed their height measurement scheme.

If you can't be measured at the rides because your child is not able to stand you have to go to Guest Services every time you attend Legoland and instead of just being able to get a new card rewritten (it's not as if you will have shrunk from the previous visit) you actually have to be measured each visit and they give the child a wristband instead of a card. The previous scheme was so much better as they just filled in a new card for you with your child's current clothing description and you didn't have to be remeasured.

Not looking forward to the new scheme as my child hates being laid down and measured. I am going to contact Legoland about this and complain, why can't they put this info (e.g. greater than 90cm or greater than 1m) on the annual pass holder's electronic record (like they do with the Exit Pass record) and then just issue a height wristband without having to remeasure.

I don't know if anyone else out there will have concerns about the new scheme and what it means for having to measure disabled children who can't stand every time they go and also some children would hate to have a wristband attached to them. If you too are concerned may I suggest you email Legoland as well as the more feedback they have the better.

That sounds like a right PITA.

We are planning on taking the dd's after Easter, dd2 is mobile (but in a Mac Major) but would not enjoy being measured or wearing a wrist band.
