The weight guidance on it is 50kg Which is nearly 8 stone but that just the weight it is tested to. So it depends how much bigger than that a wheel chair may be easier

My dd1 is 9 (and small) and has just been assessed for a new wheelchair, a Blade Plus, as she is getting too big for the McClaren.
