Downs Syndrome Awareness week

This week is Downs Syndrome Awareness week, with World Downs Syndrome Awareness day on 21st March. As my bit for awareness week I've launched a new website - www.thiswayup.org which has information about the condition, a feed from my blog at blog.thiswayup.org and much more. To help raise awareness, do take a look, put it on your facebook status, follow the blog and tweet it around - particularly to people who don't have children with Downs Sydrome!

Good idea and lovely blog especially your 21 things I wish I'd known. Its on my fb page. x

I think you should put it on Chat as well.

Love your website, the 21 things really put a smile on my face. I have thought of doing some kind of online blog for my dd who is 2 and 1/2 but it will probably take me 11 years to get round to doing it too!

Have you seen the Shifting Perspectives exhibition? I'm hoping to get to go and see it at a local gallery, there are some beautiful pictures by the looks of it.

Hi Katie - I do not know much about Downs Syndrome (DD has ASD) but I had a look at your site and I felt I just had to tell you I think it's great - good luck with everything
