We've been having a hard time with DS1 lately, he's been acting out a lot and has been very hard to reach (partly due to me going back to work full time after a year on maternity leave). Added to that statementing (he's nearly 4) and health issues and it's been a bit of a 'mare.

So you can imagine my joy when DH returns with DS1 from nursery... and he's made me his very first Mother's Day card. It's just so beautifully him, and with his CP and ASD he's very hard to get into arty stuff. It's green with a photo of a bush stuck to the front, yellow and pink feathers and a duck on the inside and it's the most perfect Mother's Day card ever

Bless your heart. I bet you're bursting with pride! Frame it and put it on your kitchen wall so you can see it all year round
