... when picking him up from nursery. DS (4.4, asd) walks really slowly most of the time because he stops and looks at allsorts of things on the way...'cracks in the pavement, houses numbers, cars parked on driveways,...'
Anyway i said to him "come on slow coach! hurry up!" he replied 'i not slow coach, i B !', that obviously was not something DS would understand atm, so i said "you are walking slowly, hurry up!" so with a cross voice he said "i not walking slowly, i B, mummy!!" .... LOL!!

my dd did this today when i yawned and said "oh dear, i yawned". dd said "you not yawned, you mummy!"

Heh! DS1 does that all the time! He even does it when I call DS2 stinkbutt, squealy or some other affectionate nickname!
