Ds (10) is having lots of problems at school - angry outbursts,taking things too literally and getting into trouble etc (think it's HFA or AS possibly). EP saw him a couple of weeks ago (not had report yet) and school have made referral to paed. After not receiving appointment I chased this and was told that he will have to attend social communication clinic and then doctor will decide whether to manage him or refer back to central clinic for ADOS test. Has anyone had to attend this type of clinic and what should I expect?
