hi all

just needs some more info really

i am finding the school extreamely unhelpful infact i am thinking of changeing schools altogether any ideas on wheather i should 1, get a SEN or not

I would consider changing schools and, if you do, I would get the Statementing process started if you think he will need extra help at school that the school can't provide. In any case, be honest with the new school about the difficulties he has.

I would consider changing schools too. You don't necessarily need a statement but you will need additional support and if the school can't or unwilling to provide this then applying for a statutory assessment (which leads to a statement) can force their hand. In any case it will get more professionals into assess your child quick smart, even if it doesn't lead to a statement.
