Know not strictly a sn thing .But after a tough few months \i have just signed lease for 5 years on a bungalow no more crawling upstairs for ds and he be able to get in his own room to no stairs and even more theres enough room for him move round in his chair on bad days

it is for a longtime we been squeezed into 2 and a cupboard not easy when 4 dc , ds could not go upstairs to room/toilet etc .

then had leave that thanks to beep exH but hell ok lost security of council place but not liek they was doing anything to help with size adaptions but so worth it

Well done Phoenix, we are still waiting to find out if we have got the 3 bed council house (not looking good), dh phoned the council on friday and they said they had not decided yet and we should hear something by the 9th of March. I can't wait for dd2 to have a room and be able to sleep with dh again .

Marne i ended up giving my council place there was never going to be anything suitable they had nothing bigger .My ex was just last straw

Just found out that we didn't get the house , dh wants me to phone the council and find out if we ever had a chance of getting it. I think the house was given to a family who were made homeless a few days ago which i know is more of a priority than us but i'm still a bit as it was the first house that has come up in our area since being on the list so the chances are another won't come up for a while.

I think we will end up having to go private if we can afford it.

Its so wrong that there are not enough larger properties available through the council. I can afford to pay 800.00 per month to go private (the council only charge 450-500 per month for a 3 bed so a big difference). Looks like we are stuck here for a while.

sorry Marne thast rough no how hard it is when your cramped and i struggled with realising that too get anywhere was going to have to give up security of my council place

Only got my place as none wanted to rent it as trainline nearby and planes fly overhead lol ideal for ds who loves watching both

Phoenix- i would love to live in a house with planes flying over (i love planes).

We are going to go private (at least then we can chose where we live), we are thinking of moving to the village i grew up in so we can be close to my parents and friends (i miss talking to people).

I just hope we can get a long let as i don't want to keep moving the dd's.

Yes was my worry but have long let landlord agreed as he knew be struggle get anyone else to let. The space is great though lol we can't find anything even the toilet. Way to many doors
