DS1 is 4.5yo and has mild ASD/Aspergers. He has NEVER done any kind of imaginitve play at all, but today I set up the train track for him and his brother and he put a house next to the track, said 'this is my house', then he said 'the house is on fire!' and did a 'whoosh' noise to pretend he was putting the fire out!
I didnt think he would ever do imaginitve play! Was so pleased at how great he is doing!
Is it the sort of thing that he may eventually get better and better at as he gets older?
